CiCS provide an annual leave entitlement starting at 27 days (rising to 30 depending on grade) + Bank Holidays + a Christmas and New Years closure. 

The University offers a range of salary sacrifice benefits which allows you to make savings on the amount of Tax and National Insurance you pay. 

Additional Annual Leave

The Additional Annual Leave scheme supports flexible working at the University and enables you to supplement your annual leave entitlement by purchasing up to an additional 10 days holiday, pro rata, and spread the cost over 12 months.

Cycle To Work

The Cycle to Work scheme is a Government backed initiative which enables you to save on the cost of a bicycle, suitable for commuting to work, and safety accessories.

The Cycle to Work scheme is offered in three application windows throughout the year, in Spring, Summer and Autumn.

To submit your application before the deadline please log onto The Deal via MUSE and select Cycle to Work.

Give As You Earn

Give As You Earn is our charitable giving scheme, which helps you to give back to the wider community by making a regular donation directly from your salary, you save on tax.

To set up regular charitable donations, visit The Deal and choose GAYE. It's quick and easy and requests can now be completed online.

Childcare Vouchers

Following the introduction of Tax Free Childcare, the University's Childcare Voucher scheme has closed to new joiners.
